TLC canceled two performances over the weekend after member T-Boz became ill and was hospitalized. The R&B stars were scheduled to play the New York State Fair in Syracuse on August 23. and the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut on August 24, but were forced to cancel both shows. The group issued a statement on Saturday explaining that T-Boz “experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting, and intense abdominal cramps” and was eventually “diagnosed with a severe abdominal blockage.” TLC plans to reschedule the canceled dates. The group’s next scheduled shows are on August 31 in Highland Park, Illinois, and September 1 in Welch, Minnesota. (Rolling Stone)
