Following her high-profile appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 1, Tate McRae has earned her first No. 1 album of her career with So Close To What, which debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart this week. The Canadian pop superstar’s new record claims the biggest debut week for a studio album by a woman in five months, and becomes McRae’s second Top 10-charting record of her career, following the No. 4 peak of Think Later in December 2023.
