The Compton rapper, fresh off  winning five Grammys for “Not Like Us,” promises a thought-provoking, storytelling-focused performance at his Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Sunday. While Lamar didn’t directly address his ongoing feud with Drake, he did say he is fueled by the competitive nature of rap. “I think a lot of people was putting rap to the back — you didn’t see that bite anymore,” Lamar explained. “My intent was to always keep the nature of it as a sport. I love when artists grit [their] teeth.
